Subgrant
The Subgrant is available to artists and arts organizations or organizations that are producing, presenting, or sponsoring arts events. Subgrants range in amount from $100 to $1000, require a 1:1 match, and are offered on a quarterly basis.
Organizations seeking grants must hold federal tax-exempt status or apply through a qualified fiscal agent. They must be chartered in South Carolina as a non-profit organization. Artists must be full-time residents of Orangeburg County. Students are not eligible to apply. Applicants are eligible to apply four times per year, but can receive grants only twice within one fiscal year.
These grants are funded in part by a generous award from the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina, and by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives funding from the national Endowment for the Arts.
